How We Are Different
There are a wide variety of residential programs for youth across the country. House of Hope is different than many other organizations in the following ways.
The primary unique factor is the reliance on God in all areas of life. The ministry believes that God is in control, and that He is the one who brings healing and restoration. There is no requirement within the program for family members to be Christians to be at House of Hope; these decisions are personal and completely up to the individual. However, the foundation of the ministry is based on Christian principles and complete reliance on God.
House of Hope encourages parents be part of the healing process. The ministry’s heartbeat is to join with the Father to set the captives free and heal the brokenhearted (Isaiah 61:1) Parents play an important role at House of Hope through the investment of their time, encouragement, and willingness to get help for the entire family.
House of Hope also works solely with youth that want help. The ministry does not go against an individual’s will, and, as each young adult is willing to acknowledge that they need intervention and help, is willing to partner with them for their healing and restoration.
